Pieces of work are still accepted for the annual Republican contest “ECOleader”

On September 1, 2015 the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan announced the start of the annual Republican contest “ECOleader”. The contest is aimed at preservation of the environment, attraction of public attention to the problems of ecological safety, as well as encouragement of nature protection activity of companies. Materials are accepted until November 15, 2015. The results will be summarized in December. Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
During a survey of the territory of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, inspectors from the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded violations of environmental legislation.
