July 12th is the professional holiday of fishermen. This day unites not only those whose profession is related to fishery, but also those who just love fishing and their families, all for whom fishery means sport, hobby, special state of soil and the way to unite with nature. It is the holiday of particular brotherhood that unites people of various ages and trades, and even those who have never seen a fishing tackle before.
Tatarstan is one of most rich in water regions of the Volga Federal Region, and the largest water reservoirs are located on the territory of the Republic: Kuybyshev, Nizhnekamsk, Zainsk, Karabash reservoirs, as well as about 4 thousand small and medium rivers and about 8 thousand lakes. Nature itself encouraged saturation of the consumer marketThe ceremony of start-up of production of low-concentrate sodium hypochlorite at the water purification station “Chelnyvodokanal” LLC was held today in Naberezhnye Chelny. Representatives of state authorities, nature protection authorities of the Republic – Head of Cis-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Garipov, as well as experts of industrial companies and water and wastewater treatment plants of Kazan, St. Petersburg, Almetyevsk, Izhevsk and Ufa took part in the event.
A voluntary campaign for cleaning of the coastal area of the Kama River (from the quay to the boat station) was held on July 8, 2015 by citizens of Nizhnekamsk. More than 80 bags of litter left by holidaymakers were collected during 2 hours. Such campaigns have been held by active citizens since 2014. Campaigns for cleaning of coastal areas of water facilities will be held in other cities of the Trans-Kama region with support of the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

It was temporarily restricted for two citizens of Tatarstan to travel abroad due to their failure to pay the fine imposed after violation of nature protection legislation. By decision of Naberezhnye Chelny Municipal Court, F.S. Sharipova temporarily can’t travel beyond the boundaries of the Russian Federation until she pays the fine imposed after her failure to equip commercial and other facilities located within the boundaries of water protection areas in compliance with the corresponding requirements (part1, Article 8.45 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).
Today, specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a lecture for students of Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev (KAI). Head of the Ministry’s Department for the State Ecological Expertise and Standardization of the Environmental Exposure Raisa Shagidullina familiarized the students with a local system for the environment surveillance of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Moreover, operation of the automatic station (located on Pavlyukhina str., Kazan) and a mobile laboratory (based on the Ford Transit vehicle) for air pollution control was also demonstrated.
Meetings of personnel were held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with participation of fellow workers of the State Inspection for Ecological Surveillance, Central Territorial Department, Volga-Kama Territorial Department, Trans-Volga, Trans-Kama, Priikskoe, Cis-Kama, Northern, and South-Eastern Territorial Departments under the Ministry that have been appointed to civil service positions since June 1, 2015. The following topics have been discussed: responsibilities, limitations and bans, requirements on prevention or regulation of the conflict of interests, and fulfillment of liabilities entrusted with state civil officers. The principal provisions of the legislation on the state civil service and anti-corruption activities have been explained to the state inspectors during the meetings.
In the course of a scheduled inspection of the “Trade and Production Campaign ‘Sandal’” LLC, located in Tyuluachi district (Uzyak village), experts of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed discharge of harmful substances (pollutants) into the air from the company’s boiler house. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the company in accordance with Article 8.21 part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Discharge of pollutants into the air or harmful physical impact thereon with no special permission”, and the case was referred to the court to suspend activity of the given company. By order of Tyulyachi district court a ruling was given to hold the “TPC ‘Sandal’” LLC administratively liable according to Article 8.21 part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, and to inflict punishment in the form of administrative suspension of activity for 60 days.
