Last weekend, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Helsinki (Republic of Finland) to participate in the International Forum of Circular Economy. The delegation of our republic includes the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov. As part of his stay in Helsinki, it was planned to get acquainted with the work of the National Museum of Finland, visit the Helsinki Children's Hospital and a number of other events.

During the regular inspection, specialists from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed violations of environmental protection legislation in Nurlatskiy district. Local residents organized a dump of domestic garbage on the territory of Bikulova. Also, the fact of unauthorized waste disposal was discovered in the territory of Svetloye Ozero settlement. The area of ​​each landfill is 2,000 square meters.

Kazan residents and visitors spent time with the benefit of themselves and the environment. Last weekend an ecological cycle quest was held in the capital of Tatarstan - a two-hour game about reservoirs, lakes and the ecology of the city. The event is timed to the International Day of cleaning water. Quest participants traveled along the route through the Kremlin Embankment, Chernoye Lake, Bulak and Kaban.

A control commission route of the Kazan region of the Gorky Railway was carried out today by the inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period. The territory was surveyed along the route: Kazan – Vysokaya Gora - Vosstaniye - Sviyazhsk - Kazan. According to the results of the raid, 80 percent, previously identified 34 cluttering sites have been eliminated. Violators who have not fulfilled the previously issued orders of the inspectors will be re-brought to administrative responsibility.
