The delegation of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstanheaded by theFirst Deputy Minister Rustem Kamalov participated in the workof the International practical seminar on intellectual transport systemsthat was held in the IT-Park of Kazan on October 15-16th. Participants of the seminar were presented with a poster reporton“Mechanisms for minimisation oftheimpactofmotor-vehicletransport on atmospheric pollution” that aroused interest in heads of several Russian and international organizations in the field of management of transport systems.

Experts of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the Boardof the Department for Nature Use and Environmental Protection of Moscow devoted to the “Green standards”.
Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia, Rinat Gizatulin, Head of the Department for Nature UseAnton Kulbachevsky, Director of Non-commercial partnership “Center of green standards” Rashid Ismailov, as well as representatives of regional ministries in the field of nature protection, construction and commercial companies and scientists participated in the work of the Board.

On October 11-12, 2014 the play-off mini-football games were played in the framework of the Spartakiade of State officials of the Republic of Tatarstan at the Volga State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. The team of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan won over teams of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Auditing Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan and came through to the semi-finals, where in the hard-fought battle it ceded to the team of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On October 14, 2014 the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, carried out reception of citizens inthe Drozzhanoe municipal district. In particular, the issues regarding carrying out of nature protection events on the river Yakla in the village Tatarskie Shatrashany were touched upon along with capital repairs of the embankmentin the village Starye Kakerlito protect it from soil slips, and the issues regarding control of discharges of the dairy plant “Kristall” LLC into the air.

On October 14th, experts of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with students of the Bioecology Department of Kazan Volga Federal University arranged cleaning of the territory of the Blue Lake. The event was held in the framework of the Decade of sanitary and ecological cleaning of territories of municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. All in all, 40 people participated in the Saturday work campaign. More than 50 bags of litter were collected within two hours.

Experts of the Department for Environmental Protection under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan inspected workof closed systems of discharge of oil products with collection of motor fuel vapors from reservoirsandfuel-dispensing units into road-tankers for further removal of vapors and their recuperation at the oil depots installed at gas filling stations of the “Company ‘FORT-RIMEX”LLC at 52B Gvardeyskaya str. of Kazan and 2 Zavodskaya str. in Obukhovo of Laishevo district.

Today, fellow workers of the Ministryof Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the traditional nature protection campaign “Day of Forest Planting”, whichwas held during the Decade of sanitary and ecological cleaning of the territories of municipal formations of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A decade of sanitary and ecological cleaning of territories of municipal formations was started in Tatarstan on October 8th. The events related to the cleaning of squares, parks, playgrounds, grocery and consumer goods markets, as well as mass recreationplaces, garage cooperatives and private housing sectors from litter will be held in the framework of the Decade. Surveillance over executionof the nature protection legislation requirements in the field of production and consumption waste managementand sanitary state of specially protected nature territories will be enforced during this time. Special attention will be paid to the issues regarding liquidationof the places of unauthorized waste placementon the territories of urban settlements, suburban areas, coastal lines of water facilities and places of mass recreation of the population.

These days the All-Russian Forum “Ecological Safety” is held in St. Petersburg. This project is aimed at attraction of attention to the ecological problems. The Forum is aimed at studying of the best practices in the field of ecology that ensure promotion of efficient innovation technologies and enhancement of ecological safety of the population.
