Separate collection of garbage and its utilization, the state of quality of the reservoirs and the channeling and cleaning of the Bilyarka River. These and other environmental issues were raised at the reception of citizens in Alekseevskiy and Spasskiy districts. RustemKamalov, First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, met with the Heads of rural settlements and representatives of district organizations. 

Today AleksandrShadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited Zakamskiy and Prikamskiy Territorial Administrations. During the visit, the Head of the Environmental Department got acquainted with the technical base and laboratories, met with the inspectorate. The employees were assigned tasks for the forthcoming sanitary and ecological bimonthly period.

On the eve of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period, AleksandrShadrikov,Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, made a helicopter flight. Todaythe Head of the Environmental Department inspected the territories of Elabuzhskiy, Mamadyshskiy, Nizhnekamskiy, Sarmanovskiy districts and Naberezhnye Chelny. 

More than 70 holes were drilled today on VerkhniyKabanLake in order to saturate the reservoir with oxygen. The environmental event brought together employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, specialists of Administration of Russian Emergency Ministry for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of Federal Agency for Fishery in the Republic of Tatarstan, students of KNITU-KAI and not indifferent inhabitants. 

Today at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan a scientific session was held, it was occasioned with the International Forest Day. The session was attended by the specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Issues of effective conducting of sanitary-ecological bimonthly period in the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed today in Tetyushi town. The readiness to environmental protection measures in the Zavolzhskiy zone was inspected by FayazShakirov, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of Environmental Protection. 

On March 20, Earth Day is celebrated all over the world. The founder of this holiday is John Morton,the American public figure. In the 1840s, he launched a campaign to plant trees and shrubs in the framework of the program of careful attitude of every citizen of the country to the environment. In 1872, he proposed to establish a day, which will be devoted to landscape gardening. 

To observe the work of ecological laboratory from within and take part in the research. This opportunity was introduced to students of the 10thform of lyceum No. 1 in Chistopol town. An excursion to the specialized inspection of analytical control of Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was conducted by Marina Zakharova, Head of the laboratory.

On March 21, Rustem Kamalov, First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, will conduct reception of citizens in Spasskiy and Alekseevskiy districts.
