The All-Russian campaign on cleaning water reservoirs "Water of Russia" was launched, which will last until September 15. The event is organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. Tatarstan will join this campaign, within the framework of which "Days of water treatment" will be held.

Today schoolchildren of 33 schools and pupils of kindergarten No. 280 of Kazan joined the republican campaign #ECOspring2018. As part of the environmental event, the children collected 100 kg of used batteries and delivered them to the reception point, located in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation will develop the concept of geo-tourism and caving. Sergei Donskoi, Head of the Environmental Department, noted that these areas should be integrated into the project "Wild nature of Russia: to save and observe".

The case of the Eleventh Arbitration Appeal Court of Samara ended with repeal of the decree of the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. Back in September, the inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology detected the fact of illegal use of mineral wealth in Almetyevskiy district. According to the estimates of environmental specialists, as a result of unlicensed extraction 739.2 m³ of common minerals (crushed stone) were recovered.

The Chelny enterprise complies with all requirements for the protection of atmospheric air. Now the paint areas are equipped with systems for trapping, recycling, neutralizing, reducing (eliminating) the emission of harmful (polluting) substances into the atmospheric air. The gas cleaning installation is registered in the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Within the framework of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period in the Republic of Tatarstan, "ECOspring-2018" contest was announced. It takes place by the following categories:

- "Eco-school";

- "Eco-family";

- "Eco-enterprise";

- "Eco-kindergarten" (for kindergartens).

A briefing timed to the holding of a sanitary-ecological bimonthly period in the republic was held today in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. Aleksandr Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, answered the questions of journalists. As the Minister noted, prior to the start of the bimonthly period, all municipalities, nature protection departments and supervisory authorities of the republic conducted organizational training and inspected the readiness of communal equipment and landfills.

"I choose a village, which means I choose cleanliness and nature." This is the opinion of pupils of the Kurguzinskiy school of Zelenodolskiy district. They voiced their ideas on protection of the territory of their native land in the framework of the VIII Republican contest of research, design and creative works of students "I choose a village".

Volunteers, leaders, heads and representatives of voluntary non-profit organizations and associations, employees of state institutions, commercial companies and other initiative groups aged 8 years and older can take part in "Dobrovoltsy Rossii" contest. The organizers of the event are the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Federal State Budgetary Institution “Rospatriotcentr”, Federal State Budgetary Institution “Rosdetcentr”, Association of Volunteer Centers.
