The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov told about the results of the sanitary and ecological bimonthly period at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. In total, during the bimonthly period, supervisory authorities detected more than 6,100 violations, imposed penalties in the amount of 19,442.000 rubles. The main emphasis in the work of environmental services was made on the identification of places of unauthorized waste disposal and their elimination. From April to May, 1,693 places of unauthorized waste disposal were found on the territory of the republic, 1,592 were liquidated by the end of the bimonthly period, which comprises 94%.
