In the city of Kazan, the “City Children's Ecological and Biological Center” together with the “Republican Olympiad Center” of the Republic of Tatarstan holds the V Republican Ecological Festival-competition of pupils' stage creativity devoted to the International Theater Day and the International Earth Day.

Performers and creative teams of children's institutions of education and culture of the Republic of Tatarstan are invited to participate in the festival. The age of participants in the competitive program is determined from 6 to 18 years.

For the purpose of environmental education, an environmental event was held at school No. 15 in Nizhnekamsk, where specialists from the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration told the children about the activities of the Ministry. Graduates of schools who have obtained certain environmental knowledge will be more careful with nature in future, which in turn may affect the improvement of the ecological situation in our country.

Unlicensed use of groundwater was stopped by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with employees of the City Prosecutor's Office in Almetyevsk. An underground well was discovered on the territory of a commercial enterprise during an inspection. As ecologists explained, the exploration and production of groundwater should be carried out with a license. Currently, the well operation is stopped, in the near future the underground well will be liquidated.

From the beginning of the year, the Republican Public Environmental Reception received 534 appeals. 29 of them - through the School Eco-patrol mobile application. According to the “People’s control” system, environmentalists reviewed 108 calls, 160 notifications via WhatsApp, Telegram, Eco.signal, “Hotline” communication channels. 237 appeals were received at personal receptions of citizens and through the reception of the Ministry.

For non-compliance with environmental and sanitary-epidemiological requirements when handling production and consumption waste, substances that deplete the ozone layer, or other hazardous substances, the legal entity was brought to administrative responsibility under Art. 8.2 of the Russian Federation Administrative Code.

In order to environmental education an environmental lesson was held in school No. 2 of Almetyevsk town. In an interactive form with the help of modern technology 28 nature lovers learned about the types of waste and how to dispose of it. The lesson included tips on how each person can help in maintaining the ecology. In addition to the fascinating educational material, the lesson contained creative tasks, board games, unusual handouts.
