In the framework of celebration of World Environment Day, an environmental event was held in the Teremok kindergarten in Buinsk town. Employees of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan told the children where the garbage is sent, and what happens when people do not care about sorting it. In the course of the lesson, children were given eco-starts for proper and clever separation of waste.

An operation “Autostop”, in the framework of which inspectors are looking for drivers who are parking on the banks of water bodies, took place in Aznakayevskiy district. During the raid, specialists from the Priikskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan identified more than 10 violators of the Water Code in the water protection zone of the Sterlya river. As a result of the raid, administrative protocols were drawn up against individuals and fines were imposed.

Employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received awards for conscientious service in ensuring environmental safety on the day of the professional holiday. Rewarding within the framework of the ministerial meeting was held by the Minister Aleksander Shadrikov. “We have a great responsibility in preserving the environment. We face many tasks, but I am sure that together, shoulder to shoulder, we will be able to successfully solve them. I wish you peace, health, optimism and good ideas for the benefit of ecology”, he said.

The first results of transition to a new system of production and consumption waste management were discussed today at the forty-eighth meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the fifth convocation. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov reported on the ongoing supervisory activities in this area to deputies.

A meeting of the Anti-Corruption Commission chaired by the First Deputy Minister Rustem Kamalov was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. A list of specific measures and instructions aimed at enhancing work on considered activities and prevention of corruption has been developed.

Representatives from Tula region familiarized themselves with the experience of Tatarstan in the field of ecology and protection of natural resources. Head of the State Inspectorate for Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksei Polyushkov introduced the guests to the peculiarities of work in the field of environmental supervision and the use of information technology. In the framework of the event, the participants were presented with a presentation of the statistics of the supervisory activity of the department, demonstrated the work of a mobile environmental laboratory and a stationary post of automated control.

Veterans of the industry, who have made an unbearable contribution to the environmental protection of the republic, have gathered today again in the premises of their native Ministry. On World Environment Day, the ministry’s officials led by First Deputy Minister Rustem Kamalov congratulated the veterans on their professional holiday.

Today the results of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period were summed up at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The head of the environmental department at the beginning welcomed the participants and congratulated them on World Environment Day, after which he proceeded to speak. During the report, Aleksandr Shadrikov noted that in the period from April 1 to June 1, state inspectors identified 6,730 violations of environmental legislation. The total amount of fines imposed was 23 million rubles.

On behalf of the Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov in Nizhny Novgorod, a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on creation and improvement of an integrated system of remote monitoring of the state of natural resources and objects was held in the form of a video conference. The Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov, the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Fayaz Shakirov and other representatives of the republican authorities took part in the event from the Republic of Tatarstan.
