On June 27-30, the engineering competition “Solar Regatta” will take place in Kazan - a unique race of environmentally friendly boats powered by solar batteries. The event will take place in the waters of the Lower Kaban. More than 50 teams from 26 regions of Russia will compete in speed, maneuverability and endurance of unique ecological boats. The organizer of the “Solar Regatta” is the National Center for Engineering Contests and Competitions.

Last weekend, the Povolzhskaya Ecological Company organized a campaign to clean up the pond on the Melekeska River at Kolokolny Bridge. The campaign was held with the assistance of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the environmental movement “Garbage. No. More. Naberezhnye Chelny”. About 50 people, armed with rakes, shovels, bags, put in order the coastal zone of the river.

The violation of license agreement was revealed by inspectors of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during an on-site inspection in Mamadyshskiy district. A company engaged in the extraction of carbonate rocks at the Otarkinskoye deposit has gone beyond the boundaries of the designated area.

Protocols regarding the offender were drawn up in accordance with Part 2 of Article 7.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, and decisions were made to impose fines in the amount of 350 thousand rubles.

The message about the discharge of fecal runoff to the soil on the Gaidar street of Menzelinsk town was received by the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan by calling the “hot line” in April of this year. It was established that an emergency discharge occurred as a result of the destruction of the septic tank.

On the complaint of a local resident, an unauthorized dump was revealed by employees of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources near Veneta settlement of Arskiy district. During the inspection, it turned out that the residents themselves formed a landfill of household and construction waste in the village. A request was addressed to the head of the Starochurilinsky rural settlement of Arskiy district asking to eliminate this violation. To date, measures have been taken to eliminate the landfill, the site has been re-cultivated.
