On the territory of the republic, by 2024, it is planned to liquidate 2 objects of accumulated harm and raise 21 flooded vessels. The dismantling of the inactive pipelines of the Ozernoye oil field in the Nizhnekamsk reservoir is planned to be implemented from 2020, the restoration of silt sites of the biological sewage treatment facilities of the city of Kazan - by 2024.
Today implementation of the Ecology National project in the republic was discussed in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. Two similar violations of soil pollution by oil products were identified by specialists from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan in April and November 2017. Then the company was brought to administrative responsibility under part 2 of article 8.6 of Administrative Code in the form of a fine of 160 thousand rubles. However, the payment of a fine does not relieve the violators of environmental legislation of liability for harm caused to nature. The Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan upheld the environmental claims in the amount of 3,451,300 rubles.
