The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan accepts applications for participation in the Republican contest “ECO Leader”. The most environmentally friendly enterprises and educational institutions are invited to participate - whose task is to teach nature conservation, social activists, who are not indifferent to environmental problems, and, of course, journalists who during the year became real assistant inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The start to this new holiday was laid by the irbis conservation forum, which was held in Bishkek in 2013. The habitat of a large predatory mammal of the cat family is the highlands of Central Asia. In addition to Russia, leopards are found in Afghanistan, Myanmar, Bhutan, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Today, Tatarstan is studying the issues of studying the conservation of the snow leopard population.

Inspectors of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan confirmed the fact of illegal storage. The violator himself was also established by the state plate of the vehicle. Currently, an administrative protocol has been drawn up in relation to an official in accordance with Part 1 of Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

Employees of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in Naberezhnye Chelny recorded an unauthorized landfill. The result of the audit showed that household and construction waste, as well as used tires, were stored on a plot of 50 sq.m. Based on the foregoing, an administrative offense was drawn up in relation to an official in accordance with Part 3 of Article 8.2 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. He faces a fine of 40 thousand rubles. An order was also issued to eliminate the causes and conditions that contributed to the commission of this violation.

On September 21-24, 2020, the First Central-Eastern Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) will be held in Kazan. The event was organized by the ERTICO ITS Europe* Association. Co-organizers of the Congress are the ministries and departments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan.

The main thematic areas of this forum are: traffic management, public transport, legislation in the field of traffic management, big data, research and development, innovation, drones, satellites, ITS and the environment, mobile applications, training for ITS.

One of the world's leading green economy forums, the World Green Economy Summit, is taking place in Dubai today. The goal of the summit, the organizers say, is to set the tone for environmental change, generate new ideas and technologies. Participants included academicians, government representatives, business leaders and NPOs. At the World Forum the Republic of Tatarstan is represented by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov.

Republican internship for educators “Formation of an environmentally literate person in the education system through the principles of systematic, continuous and interdisciplinary education in environmental and local history education and upbringing” was held in Aznakayevo. At the event, the participants got acquainted with the methods of organization and functioning of ecological paths, shared with their experience in working with a children's audience.

The second stage of a large-scale campaign to collect and dispose of batteries is continuing. The event is supported by Durasell Russia LLC. The results of the campaign for selective collection of batteries will be announced in June 2020 as part of the campaign “Ecological Spring 2020”. The most active pupils and schools will be rewarded with valuable prizes.

Employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan have joined the conservation campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”. The territory of the forest fund of the Stolbishchenskiy local forestry of the Privolzhskiy forest district was cleaned of debris. In total, about 200 cubic meters of solid municipal waste and felled trees were collected by the participants of the campaign on this site.

11,370 appeals were received by the Republican public reception of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan since the beginning of the year. 6,935 of them - through the School Eco-patrol mobile application. Environmentalists also examined 1,162 messages received through the People’s Control system, and 1,528 notifications by e-mail, the Ministry’s hot line and WhatsApp, Telegram channels. 1,745 appeals were received at personal receptions of citizens and through the reception of the Ministry.
