Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan hosted a traditional New Year's Eve meeting with journalists. In two and a half hours, the Minister of Ecology, Alexander Shadrikov, spoke about the global challenges that the department faced several years ago and how they have now been solved. In terms of numbers, 71.8 billion rubles have been allocated to environmental protection measures in the republic over the past seven years. More than 40 billion are funds from enterprises, and 30 billion are funds from the federal and republican budgets. Due to these funds (30 billion), possible damage of 77.1 billion rubles was prevented. Every ruble invested has paid off doubly. In the 6 years since the launch of the Ecology national project, 30 events totaling 21.6 billion rubles have been implemented within the framework of 6 federal projects.  

For cooperation and active participation in the information coverage of national projects in the Republic of Tatarstan, the staff of the Ministry of Ecology was rewarded with a Letter of Thanks from the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

In support of the Ecology national project, Tatarstan has already recycled 144 tons of non-working electrical equipment under the federal Recycling School: Electronics program. In total, since the start of the program, the Republic has sent over 320 tons of scrap metal for processing.

An eco-lesson, where second grade students defended their projects on the topic of the Red Book was held in the multidisciplinary lyceum named after G. Kursavi of the Arsky district. The lesson, held under the motto "Love, cherish, protect", became a real celebration for young researchers.

The All-Russian competition of feeding toys "Ecolyata – friends of birds" starts on December 26 and will last until April 14, 2025. This is a great opportunity to show your talents and create cozy corners for all wintering birds!

The Ministry of Ecology hosted the final meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Department this year, chaired by Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov. The meeting summed up the results of the work and announced plans for the coming year.

New Year is the most magical holiday for children, which they wait for all year and write letters to Santa Claus, firmly believing in the existence of all fairy-tale characters.  According to good tradition, the ministry hosted a New Year's Eve matinee for the children of employees.

Since the beginning of the year, 9632 applications have been received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception, 94% of them have been resolved.

Today, the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan summed up the results of the outgoing year 2024 and traditionally awarded the best employees. The awards were presented by Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
