On January 13, a campaign to collect coniferous trees "Christmas trees-sticks" will start in Kazan. Everyone who bought a Christmas tree will be able to hand it over for further processing when the holidays end. 

A new recycling collection point has started operating in Kazan. It is located at 6 Vasilchenko Street. The site is a fenced area where containers for different types of waste and things are installed: waste paper, plastic, furniture, batteries, appliances, clothes and other things are accepted. Residents can leave recyclables here for free.

Тhe Executive Committee of Kazan has identified the addresses of 11 collection points for used fluorescent lamps (linear and compact), mercury thermometers and batteries.
