A large batch of waste of the 1st hazard class was discovered by ecologists on the territory of the garden society in Almetyevskiy district. 6 cubic meters of mercury, fluorescent lamps dumped onto the soil on the area of 26 square meters. Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan initiated an administrative investigation against unidentified persons under Part 3 of Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. Violation shall entail the imposition of an administrative fine of up to 500 thousand rubles.
Each site proposed for temporary storage of snow must be approved by environmentalists. The first raid on the territory of future authorized snow ranges was carried out today by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. All sites for future snow placement are evaluated by specialists from the laboratory of the Ministry. Illegal actions were carried out using specialized equipment. At the time of the environmental survey, the area of disturbed lands was 172 square meters. Upon the unauthorized removal and movement of the fertile soil layer, the Leninogorsk enterprise was held administratively liable under Part 1 of Article 8.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, a fine was imposed. In addition, the offender will have to rehabilitate the land.
