The efficiency index of 20 recycling kiosks amounted to 6 tons of clean waste.  

The delivered recyclable materials did not require additional sorting and were immediately sent for processing after briquetting. According to the initiators of the project, the collected volume of plastic will produce 120 street benches or 15 thousand T-shirts, and aluminum can be re-made into new cans for drinks. Each student who took part in the project helped to take another step towards zero burial. 20 leaders in the containers collection received valuable prizes.

Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Shigapov, Director of Korib Metal OOO Oleg Korobchenko and representatives of the administration of Nizhnekamsk city took part in the opening ceremony.

The development of a network of collection points for batteries that meet the requirements of environmental safety will make it possible to hand over spent power sources for recycling, thereby preserving nature.

Today an interactive exposition on waste sorting and recycling was opened in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevskiy forest. A new educational space has appeared in the capital of the republic as part of the project “Kazan - a city without waste”.
