From September 5 to 6, 2024, waste collection of electronic and electrical equipment was organized in Kazan. To participate in the Recycling School: Electronics program, simply leave an application on the Program's website by filling out the "Registration of a participant" form.
1773 applications have been received by the Fund for Rational Environmental Management from organizations of Tatarstan for free recycling of electronics since the start of the program in the republic. In terms of the number of registrations from budget organizations, the Republic of Tatarstan occupies a leading place among the regions participating in the federal program.
The seminar will be attended by Natalia Krivenko, Deputy Director General of FSUE Federal Environmental Operator for the regulation of waste management of hazard classes I and II, Alexandra Duafi, head of the group for methodological development of regions and support, Marina Potokova, chief specialist of the group for methodological development of regions and support, Rostislav Zabarovsky, chief specialist of the group for methodological development of regions and support.

The winner of the award was announced today at the Federation Council in the framework of the Second All-Russian competition “Reliable Partner – Ecology”. The event was attended by representatives of federal executive authorities, organizational partners and competition experts. The award ceremony was broadcast live.
Tatarstan enterprises, as a result of which waste of I and II hazard classes are generated, as well as operators for handling waste of I and II hazard classes are invited to take part in testing the state information system for accounting and control of waste management of I and II hazard classes (GIS OPVK ).

The Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Federal Environmental Operator” and “Korib Metall” OOO will create conditions in the Republic of Tatarstan for handling waste from accumulator batteries of I and II hazard classes. The corresponding Agreement was concluded today within the framework of the section “Circular Economy, Energy Efficiency and Environmental Safety in Waste Management” of the XV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Industrial Ecology and Safety” named after A.I. Shchepovskikh.
In accordance with the roadmap for the implementation of a pilot project in the Republic of Tatarstan the necessary production facilities have been created for handling mercury-containing waste of hazard classes I and II on the basis of the Kazan branch of the “Privolzhsky Territorial District” branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Federal Environmental Operator”.
A 2-hectare landfill was discovered along Khezmet secondary street in the Sovetskiy district of Kazan. A message from citizens came to the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, and environmentalists together with specialists from the Rosreestr Department for the Republic of Tatarstan left for the site to examine and establish the exact coordinates. According to a revealed fact, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology are conducting an administrative investigation.
