Eco-family of Tatarstan to go to Crimea. Winners of contest “Eco-spring 2017” awarded in republic
Today, on Ecologist Day and on World Environment Day, winners of the Republican contest Eco-spring 2017 were awarded in IT-park. The hall gathered representatives of the most active kindergartens, schools, universities, enterprises, public organizations, environmental centers, and families which made a significant contribution to the environment protection. “These are people who are really indifferent, by their example they show how we all should treat our universal mother-nature, – the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin greeted the participants. – The Republic pays great attention to environmental protection. I think that together we will make a significant contribution to a great and wonderful deed, as big as previous years. Nature is our universal home.” The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, said: “This year only under ECOspring2017 campaign 1,127,000 Tatarstan citizens went out to clean streets, roads, and territories. Fancy, it is actually one third of the total population of the republic. Therefore, it is really very pleasant for us to gather here, to congratulate the winners and to wish success in our common cause.”

In nomination “Ecosystem of Tatarstan” - MBDU Kindergarten No.20 “Skazka” in Elabuga Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan;
In the nomination “Eco School of Tatarstan” – MBOU Secondary School No. 1 in Menzelinsk, Republic of Tatarstan;
In the nomination “Ecological family of Tatarstan” – Kamalov family (they were awarded with a voucher to the Crimea);
In the nomination “Eco-community of Tatarstan”
- Youth ecological movement of the Republic of Tatarstan “Budetchisto”,
- Regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan,
- Association “Young Ecologist” of MBI DO “Out-of-School Work Center" of Tukaev Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan
The competition was held within the framework of a sanitary-ecological two-month campaign in the Republic of Tatarstan. The goal is to familiarize all segments of population with environmental activities, identify the best initiatives, and encourage the most active participants.
Within the framework of the contest, the participants were asked to conduct the following activities: landscaping and sanitary cleaning of territories; flash mobs; building of small architectural forms; tree planting; making of bird-houses; conducting environmental lessons; separate collection of solid waste; waste paper collection; carrying out of ecological actions and other actions directed on the careful attitude to the environment of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Criteria for evaluating applications: relevance of the activities (novelty, alignment with goals and objectives, outcome, scale); number of participants, activity, initiative; involvement of the public.
