Environmental Code of Tatarstan supplemented with a new article

Deputies of the State Council of Tatarstan considered the draft law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On Amendments to the Environmental Code of the Republic of Tatarstan” supplementing the code with the article regulating the procedure for creating dendrological parks and botanical gardens of republican significance, according to the official website of the RT State Council.

The bill was presented by RinatGaytatullin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy. According to him, the federal law “On Specially Protected Natural Territories” is supplemented with a new article establishing the procedure for creating dendrological parks and botanical gardens, according to which dendrological parks and botanical gardens of federal significance are established by decisions of the Government of the Russian Federation, regional significance – decisions of the supreme executive body of state power of the subject of Russia.

The document has been adopted in the first and third readings.
