ECO Leaders of the Year tobe announced on December 8. The ceremony will be held in Pyramida.

Morethanathousandof worksentered for the contests “ECOLeader” and“ManandNature” thisyear.Mostofthemaredevoted tothe Year of Water Protection Zones in Tatarstan. It took more than a month for the contest commission to reviewtheworks. Among hundreds of participants – enterprises, municipalities, educationalinstitutions, publicfigures, journalists, photographers – only few have won.Their names will be announced in Cultural & Recreational Centre Pyramida on December 8 (Kazan, 3, Moskovskaya Street). Theawarding ceremonystartsat14:00,registrationstartsat 13:20.

Environmentalleadersfromall overTatarstanareinvitedtotheevent. The contests “ECOLeader” and “ManandNature”areorganized by theMinistryofEcologyandNaturalResourcesoftheRepublicofTatarstanwith a goal ofnature protection, raisingenvironmentalsafetyawareness, encouragingenvironmentalactivitiesofthe enterprisesandenhancingactivityofrepublicanmassmedia, improvingoccupationalskillsofthejournalistsinvolvedinenvironmental narrative.
