Young ecological specialists visited the Volga-Kama nature biosphere reserve

Today, the children spending time at the children's recreation camp "Berezka" on the territory of Krasnooktyabrskoe forestry of Zelenodolsk municipal district  visited the Volga-Kama state nature biosphere reserve. An ecological and educational tour was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event started with a welcoming word of the Leading Specialist of Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology, Elena Gilmizyanova. She acknowledged that such tours are designed to disseminate ecological knowledge among the young generation, to foster careful attitude in children to the natural resources and the environment, to form ecology-oriented mindset, and to support the development of the system for continuous ecological education and enlightenment in the Republic of Tatarstan. Deputy Director for Ecological Enlightenment and Eco-tourism, Elena Unkovskaya, held an amusing tour for the quests at the Museum of Nature.  "The exposition was based on the geographical principle, which means that plants are divided into three sections: 'America', 'Europe', 'Asia'", acknowledged  Elena Unkovskaya.  Moreover, the children were told about the rarest types of world plants. The children visited the tree nursery of the reserve. The collection of the reserve contains more than 50 stuffed animals of the typical inhabitants presented in their natural habitat. During the tour, young ecological specialists could find the answers to all the questions of interest.
