"It is important to enhance control over appropriate budgetary expenditures, to effect strict monitoring in the field of placement of state orders for the Ministry's needs". An ordinary anti-corruption meeting of the Commission was carried out today at the Ministry of Ecology.

An extended meeting was held today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Minister for Ecology, Rustem Kamalov, and the Expert of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan – Professor of the Department of General Chemistry and Ecology under Kazan National Research Technical University named after Nail Gazeev Tupolev on anti-corruption measures.

The following issues were discussed during the meeting:

1 Review of the evaluation of effectiveness of implementation of the anti-corruption policy in the Republic of Tatarstan.

2 Review of the Monitoring of effectiveness of activity of executive authorities in the Republic of Tatarstan, local federal executive authorities in the Republic of Tatarstan, and local government authorities of municipal and urban districts of the Republic of Tatarstan on implementation of anti-corruption measures on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2015 elaborated by the Social and Economic Monitoring Committee in the Republic of Tatarstan.

3 Review of the extent of legitimacy and the key violations following the results of work of law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Tatarstan on the monitoring of compliance with the legislation regulating the anti-corruption issues in 2015.

4 Executive summary of the carried out events under the Anti-corruption Program of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in Q2 2016 with review of the results of monitoring of the information on corrupt practices in the activity of the Ministry's officials placed in mass media including Internet and "Hot line", as well as the information contained in the reports received from citizens and officials.

5 Review of the results of analysis of compliance with the time frame for submission of reports on income, expenditures, property and property-related obligations of persons holding state civil service offices at the Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the members of their families.

6 Review of the results of public polls on the state of corruption at the Ministry.

7 Review of the results of work on anti-corruption expertise of normative legal acts and draft normative legal acts in Q1 2016.

8 "On implementation of anti-corruption measures in the Cis-Kama Territorial Department". 

        The list of specific measures and orders was elaborated in the course of the event aiming at activation of implementation of reviewed trends of activity and prevention of corrupt practices. When summarizing the results of the meeting, Rustem Kamalov instructed to continue strict monitoring of appropriate budgetary expenditures, to effect strict monitoring in the area of placement of state orders for the Ministry's needs, to continue efficient work in the field of state service and anti-corruption measures, to continue monitoring of anti-corruption expertise of normative legal acts and draft acts, as well as to receive citizens more actively and to enhance work with population.
