Pupils of Arsk took part in the ecological contest of pavement drawing

A contest of children's pavement drawing was held in Arsk. The event was organized under the auspices of the Northern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Pupils of secondary schools of the district from 7 to 18 years of age took part in the event. Contestants presented their pieces of work in five categories devoted to the "Year of nature protection zones in the Republic of Tatarstan", "Traffic rules", the 130th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukay and "Soyuzmultfilm" devoted to the Year of Cinema in Russia, and "Be prepared!" devoted to the Pioneer Day. The jury decided on the winning places in each category and in each age group. Such events are held to attract children's attention to the problems of environment preservation, fostering of careful and caring attitude to nature, promotion of an ecologically intelligent style of life and enhancement of the level of their ecological culture.
