A visiting session of the Heads of territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology was held in Kazan

Heads of the territorial departments under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan gathered today in Kazan in order to familiarize with the system for waste management in Kazan. The delegation headed by the Minister, Farid Abdulganiev, visited the waste transfer station aimed at sorting and bracketing of solid domestic waste along with a new landfill “Vostochny” under construction designed for solid domestic waste.

Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
