More than 200 thousand rubles will be paid by the offenders who polluted the Kamenka river

Inspectors of the Priikskoe Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with specialists of the Tatar Nature Protection Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office carried out an inspection at ‘Aznakaevo company of heat networks” OJSC. It was established that this company operates treatment facilities in breach of the requirements of the nature protection legislation. Three rulings were delivered on the official under Article 7.6. of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Unauthorized occupation of a water body or its use in contravention of the relevant  conditions”, and Article 8.1. of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Failure to comply with the ecological requirements when carrying out town-planning activities and operating the companies, constructions or other facilities”, as well as on the legal entity under Article 8.14 part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Violation of the water use rules in drawing of water, without water removal, and in discharge of sewage waters into water bodies”. The fines were collected in the amount of 102 thousand rubles. The experts estimated the damage inflicted on the Kamenka river when discharging sewage waters exceeding permissible levels. The damage amounted to 212 thousand rubles.
