"Primeval Russia" Nature Festival will be held in Moscow

Exhibition of photographs with the unique animal world and matchless landscapes from all parts of Russia, workshops of the leading photographers of wild nature, film shows and even classes on arts and crafts - this is the programme of III Nature Festival "Primeval Russia". The event will take place in Moscow in the Central House of Artists from January 22 to February 25, 2016, the main theme will be the Volga River. Let us remind than in June of 2015 "Volga" Scientific and Artistic Expedition consisting of the leading photographers-naturalists, operators, urbanists and cultural specialists worked in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. They continuously took photos and video recordings of both banks of Volga from the outlet to the mouth. The festival will present a unique photo exhibition to the visitors which is dedicated to the primeval nature of Russia and will give chance to meet the most interesting photographers-naturalists and film directors of documental movies about nature, directors of reserves, travellers, to visit popular science lectures, to get acquainted with the most important Russian public environmental projects, to take part in fascinating workshops. Special programme will be arranged for young visitors. Each of them will be able to pass an exciting quest, implementing interesting tasks and giving answers to questions on the Russian nature. Popular science lectures and exciting shows will help children to get acquainted with the nature secrets. Organizers are the Russian Geographical Society and the Federation Council.

"Primeval Russia" is one of the largest and interesting festivals. It has been held since 2014 and day by day it attracts more and more devotees of the national nature beauty. Unique works of the photographers-naturalists will be exhibited in Moscow during a month, then residents of many Russian cities and other countries will be able to see them as well. Over 2 million people from 70 countries of the world have attended the Festival during two years.
