Today in small rivers of Tatarstan "Ecological expedition"

Today launched the "Ecological expedition" on small rivers of the Republic of Tatarstan initiated by the Russian Geographical society, a local branch in the town of Chistopol. In the framework of the project, Youth underwater research group of the RGS will make your rafting trip along the rivers Sesma, Easy and Kama. The route of the alloy was launched today in the village of Novosheshminsk and will end on 6 August in the town of Chistopol. The detachment of the expedition two groups: group alloy, which directly moves along the river on catamarans and technical support team accompanying the first group of cars along the route.
The project is dedicated to the Year of water protection zones of the Volga and Kama rivers, which on the initiative of the acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov will take place in 2016. "Ecological expedition" is implemented jointly with the Ministry of ecology and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the public movement "Together with the President", Chistopol and municipalities novosheshminsk districts, with the aim of attracting public attention to the problems of the ecological status of rivers and the formation of the society for the culture of nature, the formation of ecological culture among young people, the study of issues related to pollution of small rivers, and drawing attention to the ecological status of coastal areas water bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the start and finish of the expedition is planned to conduct ecological action of cleaning the coastal areas.
