The on-site elimination round of the section “Solution of ecological problems. Promotion of ecological culture” of the “Safety” platform of the Republican Youth Forum – 2015 was held

The on-site elimination round of the section “Solution of ecological problems. Promotion of ecological culture” of the “Safety” platform of the Republican Youth Forum – 2015 was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The section “Solution of ecological problems. Promotion of ecological culture” of the “Safety” platform of the Republican Youth Forum, just like during previous years, is one of the most numerous in terms of quantity of participants – all in all, 93 projects were presented.

Head of the “Safety” platform of the Republican Youth Forum, Head of the Department of the State Road Traffic Safety Inspectorate under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikanov, Head of the section “Solution of ecological problems. Promotion of ecological culture” of the “Safety” platform of the Republican Youth Forum, First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov, experts of the “Safety” platform, fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, fellow workers of the Department of the State Road Traffic Safety Inspectorate under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, authors of projects under section “Solution of ecological problems. Promotion of ecological culture” of the “Safety” platform participated in section work.

The Republican Youth Forum is an innovation platform, whereon any young individual or a team can present and justify their project, find like-minded persons for its implementation and receive public and state support. The 5th Forum will be held in 10 topical categories: “Youth science and innovations”, “Architecture and urban environment”, “You are an entrepreneur!”, “Technology of kindness”, “Safety”, “Small motherland”, “Art-square”, “Information current”, “Youth against corruption!”, and “Start into the future!”.

The best youth initiatives and ideas will be presented to the governing bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan during the final exposition of the Forum, and they will be included into the list of initiatives to receive further support by specialized ministries and authorities.

Following the results of the on-site section “Solution of ecological problems. Promotion of ecological culture” the best projects and ideas were determined:

1.     Guzeliya Fayzrakhmanova with a project “Development of composition bitumen viscous material modified with liquid products of thermal processing of green wastes”;

2.     Oleg Nikitin with a project: “TrackTox-Analyzer – a complex for evaluation of ecological safety of water facilities using a computer vision technology”;

3.     Tatyana Koltsova, “Formation of the register of potential manufacturers of organic agricultural products in the Republic of Tatarstan”;

4.     Maxim Nikolaev “Atlas of soils in the Republic of Tatarstan for pupils”.

The abovementioned projects advanced to the semifinals of the platform “Safety” that will be held on April 15, 2015.
