The international contest “School for ecology” started in Moscow. The contest is aimed at attraction of pupils’ attention to environmental problems that they face in their city on a daily basis.Participants suggest specific ideas and carry out campaigns intended for improvement of ecological situation and attraction of public attention to it. Pupils of forms 7 – 10 can send their pieces of work until February 15, 2015.

A Central clean-up day was held in the Noksinsky Forest today. More than 600 people took part in it, who collected 116 bags of garbage in the eco-quest format. A total of 154 teams took part in the competition.
Since the beginning of the year, 17 automatic air pollution control stations have performed more than 1,416 million measurements, including five automatic air pollution control stations in Kazan that have performed more than 441 thousand measurements.
Today, at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov reported on the interim results of the sanitary and environmental two-month period in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Republican Central Clean-up day will be held tomorrow! We will be waiting for everyone in the Noksinsky forest behind the Frant shopping center. Don't forget to come to the start of registration - at 11:00.
