November 15th–World Recycling Day

November 15th is celebrated worldwide as the day of recycling or the World Recycling Day. For the first time the holiday was celebrated in 1997 in the United States of America. It was aimed at encouragement of the Americans to discard wastes for recycling and to buy products made from recyclable materials.In due course this holiday gradually spread beyond the USA. On this day, seminars, tours and other events are traditionally held in many countriesin order to familiarize with aspects of waste recycling and collection of recyclable materials.
The main aim of the holiday is to attract attention of authorities, public and industrial structures to this matter. Tasks of retreatment include solution of the problem oflimited resources, decrease in the cost of finished products on the account of the use of cheaper raw materials and struggle with nature pollution.
