The contest “School eco-patrol” is to start at every school on September 1

On September 1, 2014, a republican contest “School eco-patrol” is to start at educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan.The project was elaborated by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The idea of the contest envisages that every pupil with a mobile phone can make pictures of landfills during after-school time and send these photos to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan through the filter of the call-center of the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, where statistics will be formed with regard to every pupil, class, school and municipalities.Supervisory measures will be taken by nature protection authorities with regard to each landfill, and each pupil will be notified on liquidation of the landfill, and the relevant pictures will be attached.An application for mobile phones on the basis of Apple and Android OS was created and it functions as an information and technical platform for the contest. A pupil will get an opportunity to be registered in the Contest using this mobile application and the corresponding logins of pupils’ personal accounts on the portaledu.tatar.ru.
Pupils of forms 1-11 will be able to participate in the contest.The most active pupils who have sent maximum information will be awarded at the end of the school year with valuable prizes.
Aims of the contest:
- to engage pupils of secondary educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstanin the practical work regarding improvement of the environmental state;
- popularization of state and municipal services rendered to the population in the electronic form;
- fostering of active life stance in pupils of secondary educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan.
