Inspectors revealed violation of the procedure of water protection area use

Today inspectors of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with public inspectors conducted a raid to the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan. Restricted access to Kazanka river and its coastal band was revealed in Rabochaya street caused by installation of perimeter fencing on the territory of the Water-rowing center “Synthes”. A fine in the amount of up to 300 thousand rubles is envisaged for this violation in compliance with article 8.12.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Failure to comply with the terms of assurance of free access of citizens to the public water facility and its coastal band”.
All in all, in the course of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign inspectors of the Central Territorial Department of Kazan revealed 120 places of unauthorized waste placement, 108 protocols were drawn up including 7 against legal persons, 38 against officials, and 63 protocols against individuals. For the first time this year the institute of public inspectors for nature protection has been formed in order to enhance efficiency of work regarding exercise of the right of citizens to favorable environment. All in all, 36 public inspectors work in the Republic of Tatarstan, whereof 13 work in Kazan.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
