Today, the fourth line of polystyrene production was commissioned at the company“Nizhnekamskneftekhim”. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, took part in the solemn part of the ceremony.
Construction of the fourth line was started in the Q12013, while pre-commissioning activities were started in December. Asitwasacknowledgedbythe DirectorGeneralof“Nizhnekamskneftekhim” OAO,Oleg Nesterov, release of 13 makes ofpolystyrene is envisaged at release. Anewlinewillallowthecompanytoincrease in general the volume of production and expand the product line.
ThePresidentoftheRepublicofTatarstan, RustamMinnikhanov, in his turn, acknowledged that that day was a bigday not only for the company but for the whole Republic. Heemphasizedthat“Nizhnekamskneftekhim” OAO is one of the largest petrochemical companies of the country.
TheMinisterforEcologyandNaturalResourcesoftheRepublicofTatarstan, Artem Sidorov,Director General of “TAIF” OAO, Albert Shigabutdinov, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of“Nizhnekamskneftekhim” OAO,Vladimir Busygin, Director General of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” OAO, Oleg Nesterov,Director General of “Tatneft” OAO, Nail Maganov, and others also participated in the event.

Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
