A briefing devoted to a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign was held

A briefing devoted to a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign was held today at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, where the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, made an address. In the course of the briefing he informed that from April 1st to the end of May, all nature protection services, specialized ministries and authorities, executive committees of municipal formations of the Republic in the Republic of Tatarstan will proceed with a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign in order to clean territories and bring them to an appropriate sanitary and ecological state.
All nature protection services, specialized ministries and authorities, executive committees of municipal formations of the Republic will participate in the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign:
- executive committees of municipal formations will enhance surveillance over violation of the regulations regarding beautification of cities and municipal districts of the Republic;
- the Ministry of forestry will organize surveillance over the lands of the forest fund, and special attention will be paid to sanitary and ecological state of specially protected nature territories;
- inspection of the State Construction Supervision and Inspection Service will control the state of land plots, on the territory whereof construction works are carried out, as well as timely removal of construction waste from construction sites;
- Administration of the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Monitoring Service will ensure prevention of violations of land legislation on agricultural lands;
- Administration of the Federal Service on Customers' Rights Protection and Human Well-being Surveillance will exercise control over the sanitary and ecological state of social and cultural facilities, retail outlets, places of public entertainment, as well as over the state of beaches.
Moreover, starting from April 1st, a series of electronic services will be used, namely receipt of addresses of citizens through the portal of state services and mobile communication devices that ensure feedback with population. The citizens will be able to leave messages on violations of nature protection legislation using hotline at 267-68-67 or using e-mail eco.signal@tatar.ru.
For the first time this year it is planned to implement the institute of public nature protection inspectors in order to enhance efficiency of work regarding exercise of the right of citizens to favorable environment. As for right now, the works on approval of the Provision on public inspectors are carried out.
