A large-scale regional gathering of young naturalists was held in Tatarstan
The first regional meeting of the Yunate Firsts has ended in the "Saulyk" recreation and educational complex of the Tukayevsky district.
Almaz Tugushev, Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, told the children about his professional career during a "Class meeting".
The guests of honor were also Timur Suleymanov, Assistant to the Raisa of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the Council of the regional branch of the "Movement of the First" of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Elena Popova, Deputy Head of the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor.
The young people asked about their personal environmental path and what inspired them to choose a profession.
"I am very pleased to see how many guys are interested in ecology. You don't just listen, you act. You sort waste, participate in clean-up activities, and help nature. Thank you for this and good luck on your way!" said Almaz Tugushev.
After the conversation, a solemn ceremony of initiation into the yunnats took place. More than 100 children made promises to take care of the republic and received their first insignia.
Recall that the meeting of the yunnats of the First in support of the national project "Environmental well-being" was held from August 21 to 23. The participants listened to lectures, worked in teams, attended creative workshops, gaming and sports events.
Since 2018, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society, has been working to involve schoolchildren in the movement of young naturalists. Today, there are about three thousand young people in Tatarstan.
