"Tatarstan" is the leader of the "Water of Russia" campaign: the acceptance of applications for the "Coast of Good Deeds" contest continues
Until September 1, volunteers and teams can apply to participate in the "Coast of Good Deeds" contest. "The event" is held as part of the campaign "Water of Russia" of the national project "Ecological Well-being".
Both individual activists and collectives are invited to participate – educational institutions, enterprises, public associations and initiative groups.
The competition is held in two main categories. In the individual competition, the participant must take a photo of the reservoir and tell in a post on "VKontakte" why he chose this place.
In the team competition, volunteers clean the coastal area and prepare a report indicating the name of the reservoir, the date of cleaning, the length of the cleared area and the amount of waste collected. Ten winning teams will receive certificates for a joint tour.
The competition also provides for a special task "Unusual find". Participants are invited to tell about the most remarkable item found during the cleaning and post a post with thematic hashtags.

The Republic of Tatarstan has been holding the status of the winner of the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" for five years. In 2025 alone, over 8,000 clean-up days were held in the republic, which were attended by 410,479 residents. Through joint efforts, more than 11,000 kilometers of coastline have been cleared.
"Russia" national action is being implemented within the framework of the national project "Environmental Well-being" and is aimed at the conservation and purification of water bodies throughout the country. The "Coast of Good Deeds" contest is supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation and is designed to draw attention to issues of water resources protection and encourage caring citizens.
