We invite environmental educators of Tatarstan to the “Znanie.Premia” Award competition
The application period has opened for the annual competition for the Znanie.Premia Educational Award.
This is one of the largest awards in the country in the field of education. It was established by the “Znanie” Society in 2021 to recognise the achievements of teachers, lecturers, authors, science communicators, as well as educational projects and organisations.
Applications for the sixth season of the competition are accepted in 16 categories. One of them — “For Contribution to Education in the Field of Ecology and Tourism” — is intended for projects and authors who promote the tourist image of Russia’s regions, work to increase environmental responsibility, protect the environment, and preserve nature and biodiversity.

For reference: in the previous season, the competition received 18,730 applications from Russia and 40 countries worldwide. Following the selection process, 110 nominees and 32 laureates were identified. Both individual educators and educational projects and companies may participate in the competition. The laureates are selected by the Honorary Jury based on the in‑person presentations by the nominees, and the winners’ names are traditionally announced at a gala ceremony in Moscow.
