Families and journalists received awards for "Eco-Spring": the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the eco-marathon

29 June 2026, Monday

Today, the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan honored those who spent April and May making the republic cleaner, greener and kinder. The winners of the Eco-Spring-2026 contest in the Eco-families and Eco-Partners categories were personally congratulated by Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin. The ceremony turned out to be intimate, but very sincere — the awards were given not just for participation, but for real deeds.

"Many thanks to our eco-families, journalists and all those who care about environmental issues, green diplomacy and green work. When whole families find the desire and opportunity to engage in an environmental agenda, it's worth a lot. I am sure that children in such families grow up to be true patriots of their small and large homeland.

The Ecovesna competition in Tatarstan is a long-standing tradition. Every spring, thousands of residents go out on clean-up days, plant trees, and help animal shelters and veterans. This year's competition was timed to coincide with The Year of Military and Labor Valor, which was declared in Tatarstan by the decision of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The relay race of goodness lasts for two months — from April 1 to May 31. This year's results exceeded expectations: participants held more than 15,500 environmental actions. This is a real record, which was made possible by caring residents.

These figures were heard today in the meeting room of the Ministry of Ecology. But the main characters are not percentages and reports, but real people - families and journalists.

In the nomination, where the contribution of entire family teams was evaluated, the prizes were distributed as follows:

  • The bronze medal went to the Smirnov family from Kazan - they received a diploma and a certificate from an electronics store.
  • The silver medal went to the Kalmykov family, also from Kazan, with the same prizes.
  • The gold medal went to the Mendeleevsky district: the Stepanov family was recognized as the best eco-family in the republic. They were awarded a diploma and a certificate for traveling in Russia.

In the "Eco-Partners" nomination:

Among Internet sites:

  • 3rd place - Gilmanova Gulgena (newspaper "Watanym Tatarstan");
  • 2nd place - Lyudmila Gubayeva (Realnoe Vremya online newspaper);
  • 1st place - Natalia Rybakova (Tatar-inform News agency).

Among the television media and radio:

  • 3rd place - Ginyaeva Rezeda (Nur Radio);
  • 2nd place - Lucia Sharafieva (Bulgarian Radio);
  • 1st place - Kovarina Tatiana (IC "Zeleny Dol").

All winners received diplomas.
