Eco-Spring 2026: prizes awarded to young environmentalists and school teams in Kazan and Cheremshan
Awards have found their winners — in Kazan and Cheremshansky district, with a difference of several days, solemn ceremonies of awarding diplomas and prizes following the results of the republican Eco-Spring 2026 contest were held. This annual environmental marathon, which has been held in Tatarstan since 2016 and is supported by the national Environmental Well-Being project, has long become not just a competition, but a real movement uniting schoolchildren, families, labor collectives and entire municipalities. This year, the participants carried out a record 15,613 environmental actions, from planting trees and cleaning the shores to helping animal shelters and collecting recyclables, which once again confirmed that ecological culture in the republic is moving from the category of fashion trends to the daily norm of life.
In the capital of Tatarstan, Ruslan Allakhverdeev and Marat Safin, Deputy heads of the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, awarded diplomas in the "Eco-helper" category (under 18 years old). "It is encouraging to see how young Tatarstan residents take care of nature, not in words, but in deeds. Their projects are not one-time actions, but systematic work that gives real results," Ruslan Allakhverdeev said, handing the prize to the winner. The first place was taken by schoolboy Vasily Semenov, who received a mobile phone for his contribution to separate waste collection and environmental education activities. Yasmina Kamaletdinova became the silver medalist — she got a smart speaker, which, according to the student herself, will be an excellent assistant in preparing new environmental lessons and online quizzes.
The award ceremony was also held in Cheremshansky district, where schools were honored in the "Eco-team" nomination. The winners were congratulated by the head of the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology, Ildar Nabiullin, and the deputy head of the district, Nadezhda Gumerova. They presented the diploma and the Yandex Station to the team of the Cheremshan school No. 1 named after Pyotr Semenovich Kurasanov, which took the second place.
It should be recalled that the competition has been held for the 11th year in a row, and its main goal is to form a conscious attitude to nature through personal example and collective actions, which is fully consistent with the objectives of the national project "Environmental well-being".
