The Ministry of Ecology once again recalls the need to develop and coordinate new Work Plans during adverse weather conditions

22 June 2026, Monday

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan once again draws the attention of business leaders and environmentalists to the need to develop and coordinate Action Plans to reduce emissions during periods of adverse meteorological conditions (AMC) according to the new rules.

The new requirements came into force on March 1, 2026. They were approved by orders of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia No. 651 and No. 662, the old order No. 811 of 2019 has become invalid. AMC's plans, agreed before March 1, are no longer valid, as confirmed by the explanations of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

Despite the fact that the new rules have been in effect for three months, businesses are in no hurry to comply with them.  Recall that for the absence of an agreed plan, a fine is provided under Article 8.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation — 100 thousand rubles for legal entities. The heads of enterprises need to bring the documentation in line with the new requirements as soon as possible and send the plans for approval to the Ministry of Ecology.

The texts of the regulatory documents can be found in the "Documents" section on the Ministry's official website at the link: https://eco.tatarstan.ru/normirovanie-vozdeystviya-na-okruzhayushchuyu.htm
