An environmental lesson on separate waste collection was held in kindergarten No. 6 in the village of Aktanysh. The lesson for the pupils was conducted by inspectors of the Kama Department. Environmentalists told the children why it is so important to take care of the environment.
The children got acquainted with the basic rules of separate garbage collection and learned how unnecessary things can be given a "second life". For example, you can make bird feeders out of boxes or plastic bottles, and make applications of different animals out of cardboard.
At the end of the lesson, the preschoolers solved riddles and tried to sort the waste themselves into fractions: glass, metal, paper and plastic.
"Children are the most sincere defenders of nature. If you explain to them at an early age that a simple feeder or a properly discarded battery helps the planet, these habits will remain with them for the rest of their lives," said Yulia Markelova, an inspector at the Kama Department.
