Nurlat's pre-school children were told about rare birds of Tatarstan
Inspectors from the Southeastern Department conducted an environmental lesson for the pupils of the Belochka kindergarten. The lesson was dedicated to the feathered inhabitants of the republic.
The children remembered which birds they knew and noticed in their hometown. Experts explained to preschoolers that about 300 species of birds live in Tatarstan, of which more than 70 are listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Tatarstan. Rare birds include the white—tailed eagle, osprey, golden eagle, black stork and others.
The preschoolers said that they take care of the birds and every year, together with their parents, they make birdhouses that are hung on the territory of the kindergarten.
The young ecologists also proudly showed the ecologists their mini-laboratories, vegetable gardens on the windowsill, where they observe the growth of plants.
