The court upheld the environmentalists' demands to eliminate the landfill in Kazan

Earlier, inspectors from the Ministry of Ecology identified an unauthorized landfill in Kazan on Tsentralno-Mariupol Street, which is a violation of the requirements of legislation in the field of environmental protection in the management of industrial and consumer waste.

The total area of the violation was 217 sq.m. It turned out that the land is in municipal ownership.

Ecology calculated the amount of damage caused to the soil. It amounted to 106 thousand rubles.

The inspectors sent a statement of claim to the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The court supported the environmentalists' demands and ordered the Executive Committee of Kazan to pay the amount of damage.
