The annual men's chess tournament was held at the Ministry of Ecology
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the annual men's chess tournament. Six employees of the department took part in the intellectual competition, demonstrating strategic thinking, attentiveness and real sports excitement.
The competition for the prizes turned out to be especially intense: three participants scored the same number of points at once — 4 points each. The final distribution of seats was determined based on the results of three additional parties between the leaders.
According to the results of the tournament, Timur Kokovin, a specialist in the Department of atmospheric air protection, took the third place. Maxim Kuznetsov, a specialist in the Department of Geology of Solid Minerals, became the silver medalist. Artur Gilmizyanov, Advisor to the Department of Hydrogeology and Water Management, became the winner of the tournament and the men's chess champion of the Ministry.

The winners of the women's and men's tournaments will represent the Ministry of Ecology at the Spartakiad of Civil Servants, where they will defend the honor of the department.
