For students of the fourth grade of Naberezhnye Chelny School No. 13, employees of the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan conducted an unusual lesson on the world of birds.
The inspectors told the children about the important role of birds in nature and introduced them to the diversity of species found in the republic and throughout Russia. The children learned a lot about the lives of ordinary but amazing urban neighbors: sparrows, chickadees, pigeons, woodpeckers and swallows. The students listened with interest about their habits, lifestyle and the benefits they bring to the ecosystem.
The lesson was held in an exciting way: the young ecologists not only actively participated in the conversation, but also watched educational films about the life of birds. Such meetings help to foster children's respect for nature, which is an important part of the national Environmental Well-being project.
