Almost 12 tons of scrap metal were collected in Tatarstan in February as part of the Recycling School: Electronics program
In 2026, the implementation of the Recycling School: Electronics program in support of the national Environmental Well-being project continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. In February, 11.8 tons of waste from electronic and electrical equipment were collected and disposed of as part of the program. More than 40 budget organizations from Bugulma, Almetyevsk, Tetyushsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Buinsky and Aznakayevsky districts took part in the environmental campaign in February.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 20 tons of waste from electronic and electrical equipment have been collected and disposed of. The spent equipment was handed over by 59 budget organizations from 9 municipalities of the republic.
The Recycling School: Electronics program has been implemented in the Republic since 2022. The region takes an active part in the program. By the end of 2025, Tatarstan took the second place in the "Leading Regions" nomination, having collected more than 571 tons of electronics since the beginning of the program.

Accepted for disposal:
• computer and office equipment;
• household appliances (including washing machines and refrigerators);
• power tools;
• Scientific and medical technology;
• Phones and personal gadgets;
• Electronic and electric toys;
• cartridges (must not exceed 10% of the volume of the delivered equipment).
