Earlier, as part of the monitoring of the city, the inspectors of the Central Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
In the Sovetsky district of Kazan, environmentalists discovered a landfill with a total area of 256 square meters and a volume of 179 cubic meters. There was construction waste on site, namely concrete products. The inspectors calculated the amount of damage caused to the soil. It amounted to 328 thousand rubles.
It turned out that the land plot belongs to an individual. Environmentalists sent a complaint to the violator demanding that the landfill be removed and the damage caused to the environment be compensated. The environmentalists' demands were not voluntarily fulfilled.
The inspectors appealed to the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Court satisfied the Ministry's demands in full.
