Moscow will become the center of environmental innovations: the XVII International Forum will bring together more than 1300 experts

5 March 2026, Thursday

On April 14-15, 2026, Moscow will become a global platform for addressing the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. The XVII International Ecology Forum, symbolically coinciding with the Day of Environmental Knowledge, will bring together 1,300 specialists from various fields — from representatives of federal and regional authorities to leading scientists and environmental activists.

The main topic of the forum 2026 will be the first results of the national project "Environmental well-being". Experts will also discuss innovative approaches to the conservation of natural ecosystems, climate policy in the era of global change, the use of artificial intelligence in environmental monitoring, as well as the creation of a comfortable and healthy environment in megacities.

A special feature of the forum will be a large-scale exhibition, where the regions of Russia will demonstrate their achievements and practical experience in the field of rational use of natural resources and environmental protection.

Based on the results of the work, a Public resolution will be formed — the most important document that has a direct impact on the strategy of environmental protection and environmental development of the Russian Federation.

The International Ecology Forum has been held since 2009 and during this time has become one of the largest industry events in Russia. Every year, the forum gathers more and more participants and expands international cooperation in the field of environmental protection. The organizer is the NGO "Ecology Center for Assistance to Environmental Initiatives" with the support of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation.
