Inspectors from the Zavolzhsky department conducted an eco-lesson at the Leysan kindergarten in the village of Sviyazhsk in the Apastovsky district. The children were told about their respect for nature. At the beginning of the lesson, the experts showed the children an educational cartoon about planet Earth, how important it is to protect nature and treat it with care. Environmentalists explained to preschool children exactly how to take care of the world around them. The simplest thing is to save light and water, help on clean-up days, and clean up after yourself. The children also learned many interesting facts from animal life, such as that owls cannot move their eyes - instead they turn their heads almost 270 degrees, and that otters can hold on to their paws during sleep so that they do not get carried away by the current. After the theoretical part, the practice began. The children participated in quizzes and games where they applied their new knowledge. Amina Khaisarova, a specialist at the Zavolzhsky Administration, emphasized the importance of developing environmental literacy at an early age: "It is necessary to instill love for nature from childhood, because such education lays the foundation for a harmonious existence of man and nature." At the end of the meeting, the kids received small gifts in the form of coloring books from the Ministry of Ecology. Such educational events help to shape conscious behavior among the younger generation, contributing to the achievement of the goals of the national Environmental Well-being project.
