An environmental lesson on separate waste collection was held at school No. 3 in Almetyevsk. The inspectors of the Southeastern Department told the second graders how to properly sort the garbage.
The students gained new knowledge about different types of waste. Now the guys know that there is food, plastic glass and hazardous waste. The latter, in turn, are divided into 5 classes. The second graders were also told about the rules for sorting them. An important part of the lesson was an educational film showing the path of household waste from the trash can to the recycling plant.
"We were pleasantly surprised by how involved the children are in nature conservation issues. Many of them actively answered questions and showed good knowledge on the topic of separate garbage collection. I am especially pleased that some children, together with their parents, are already practicing waste sorting at home," the inspectors of the Southeastern Department noted.
At the end of the eco-lesson, the students participated in a themed game, where they were able not only to apply their new knowledge, but also to consolidate it.
